Gathered from the backyard today. Stirred in a marinade of olive oil
infused with fresh, minced garlic. Then, dusted and stirred with corn
starch. Then, dipped in tempura batter, and deep fried 'til crispy at
350°F. This was just an experiment. Never prepared mushrooms in the
deep frier before. Will have to make some Asian-style dipping sauce
next time. Thinking about trying the method using the
Chicken-of-the-Woods in the front yard...
